No. There is no cost to list (or claim) a shul. It is free.

Only one (1) listing can be added per account.

First do a Search on our site to see if your synagogue already has a listing. If it exists, look for a “Claim Listing” button at the top of the listing. If so, click the button to claim the listing.

If your synagogue has a listing but no Claim button then someone has already claimed it.

If your shul’s listing does not exist, click the “Add a Shul” button at the top right of our site.

NOTE: we verify and then approve all claimed and new listings. Only an authorized member of the synagogue’s clergy or staff can claim or create a listing. Any other person attempting to claim or create a listing will not be approved.

Only  an authorized member of the synagogue’s clergy or staff can claim an existing shul listing or create a new listing. We go through a verification process before approving a claim request.

Tip: Using a valid email with your shul’s domain (ie me@myshuldomain.com) will make the process go faster.

No. After you create a new listing (or claim an existing one), your listing will go into Pending status and await our approval. Once we approve your listing, it will then be visible on our website.

You will receive an email notifying you when your listing has been approved (or declined).

On the listings’ page, click the Claim Listing button, located at the top of the listing. Log in, or register a new account, and then select the listing plan.

This will place your claim request in a Pending status. We will then contact you, via the email you provided, to verify that you are an authorized member of the synagogue’s clergy or staff. Upon verification, we will approve your claim request.

*Note: only an authorized member of the synagogues clergy or staff can claim an existing listing.

This may happen if you already claimed a shul listing. Only one shul listing can be claimed (or created) per account.

For every new or claimed listing, we need to verify that you are, indeed, an authorized member of the synagogue’s clergy or staff.

To make the process go faster, please go to your Account Details and add your full name.

Also, using an email that contains your shul’s domain (Example: me@myshuldomain.com) will make the process go faster.

You can upload up to 36 photos and 1 video for your shul’s listing.

  1. Each image cannot be more than 1 MB in size.

  2. Gallery Images – it’s important for your images to be high-quality. Please upload images that are 1 MB or smaller and for best results, gallery images should be 1280 x 853 pixels and have a landscape orientation (i.e. wider than taller).

  3. Cover Image – is the large image that runs across the top of your listing. For best results, please upload an image that is 1 MB or smaller, in landscape orientation (ie wider than taller) and should be 1980 x 594 pixels.

Each photo must be less than 1 MB in size.

Edit your listing and upload a photo for the “Cover Image”. Please make sure that the image is 1980 x 594 pixels and not more than 1 MB in size.
